Students that are applying for Student Loans must meet eligibility criteria. Students must possess a complete Grade 12 from a Canadian high school or be eligible under the College’s Mature Student option.
Eligibility requirements for Canada Student Loan as a full-time student are:
Be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada or be designated as a Protected Person
Be a permanent resident of a province or territory that issues Canada Student Loans
Demonstrate financial need
Maintain satisfactory attendance
Pass a credit check if you are 22 years of age or older and applying for a Canada Student Loan for the first time
Maintain satisfactory scholastic standard if you have already applied for and received a Canada Student Loan in the past

Students whose fee payment is dependent upon the receipt of student financial aid must provide a copy of the Notice of Assistance form prior to commencement of the designated program. Canada Student Loan recipients will have their tuition fees automatically deducted from their student loans. The lending institution will forward tuition payment directly to the College.
