This Diploma is a step along a pathway that allows you to “step in and out” of technical trade training as you require. The pathway creates an efficient and easily negotiated road to advancing your career in trades and management.
Completion of the Diploma will allow you to enter directly into Year Three of the Four Year Bachelor of Technology Management program at University College of the North (UCN).
The Diploma will offer advanced technical trade training in the areas of Auto Mechanics, Electrical Applications, Industrial Maintenance/Millwright, and Industrial Welding.
You will also be expected to demonstrate competence in academic areas including Technical Communication, Basic Management, Technology in Industry as well as advanced mathematics, chemistry, and physics related to these trade areas.
