In Waterton-Glacier, the majestic Rocky Mountains rise suddenly out of the rolling prairies.

This site was created by Leanne Rook as a project for the Web Design program at Winnipeg Technical College. Images and text are derived from a variety of sources, and have been converted to digital form for educational purposes only. In the region of Waterton-Glacier,

a partnership of the prairie and the mountains generates a great variety of flowers, plants and animals that all intertwine with the lakes, streams, waterfalls and glacial formations.

Canada, and Montana, USA, Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park is a place where you can get close to nature: go hiking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, whitewater rafting, and more!
