Other Exotics

Tarantulas and scorpions are examples of exotic pets that don't really fit into a category. They are very much the same, with both of them being venomous and not very hard to care for. Both are not easily handled because of the danger, not to the owner, but to the pet. This is because scorpions and tarantulas can get stressed very easily. Though they are both venomous, the reaction, if bitten, will depend on the species, the person, and the amount of venom. Many species will not give a reaction that is any more painful than a bee sting.
