| Special Education
Support Services
In addition to classroom instruction, the College
offers the following Special Education Support Services:
- Identify, in conjuction with the sending schools,
secondary students requiring resource assistance
- Develop educational plans for these students
- Coordinate the activities of the para-professional
(instructional assistant(s))
- Work cooperatively with instructors to achieve
individualized education plans for special needs students
- Assess, modify, and evaluate the success of special
needs programs
- Facilitate transition of students to the
College
