Learning Skills

The College offers the following Learning Support Services:

• Administer assessment program
• Administer the Skills Assessment, CTB TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) CAAT (Canadian Adult Achievement Test)
• Communicate with instructors regarding assessment results
• Provide trade-related academic assistance to post-secondary students as needed
• Assist instructional staff in extraordinary tasks (e.g., oral testing) for post-secondary students
• Assist students in discovering strategies for new learning experiences and understanding individual learning styles
• Assist students in developing techniques for increasing studying and learning efficiency and improving performance on tests and examinations
