Student Advisors
While attending Winnipeg Technical College,
students will be assigned to a Student Advisor. Student Advisors assist students
with a variety of educational, financial, personal and career related issues.
Services provided by Student Advisors include:
Educational Counselling
- assist students in meeting educational goals while attending the College
- provide information on other post-secondary education and training
opportunities
Information and Referral
- provide information on various types of student financial assistance
- refer students to various community resources and government agencies
Personal Counselling
- assist students in dealing with personal issues which may affect their
progress, attendance and personal life.
Contact with a Student Advisor may be student or instructor
initiated.
