New sessions will begin every 10 weeks.
Students will develop language proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing competencies necessary for daily life. Essential Skills, pronunciation, cultural information, guest speakers, and field trips will be provided to support the diverse needs of students and to enhance their learning experience. Part of the language-based training will include the use of a computer lab. A specialized class is offered for those students that need additional support in their reading and writing skills.

EAL Counseling
Counseling is available to students to help them as they adjust to their new life and to create a supportive learning environment. The counseling will also include information on services and programs for immigrants as well as guidance to aid in their successfully adapting to a new culture.
